Semiautomatic machine to grind and polish edge and bevel on shaped glasses with internal and external curves, straight-line sides and mitred corners.
Bevel is obtained by means of cup wheels (150 mm) and polished with felt and nebulized cerium oxide.
Edge is obtained by means of peripheral wheels (100 mm).
It is possible to stack up to trhee diamond wheels and one polishing wheel on the spindle to process glasses with different thickness.
VELA series machines are available in two version:
- VELA ES: electric motor, 4 HP spindle power, two different wheel rotation spees (1400 and 2800 rpm) and mechnical adjustment stop device for wheels' positioning (8 positions). On request, the machine can be equipped with 3 HP spindle power and electri motor with continuous variation speed;
- VELA EES: electric motor, 3 HP spindle power,wheel rotation speed from 800 to 3600 rpm and electronic adjustment system for wheels' positioning (99 positions).
